Handling death in a family is not a common experience for everyone. So we were very happy to have Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors come help us when our mum passed away recently. Right from the early morning call when our mum passed away until ash collection, Kelvin had been there to guide and make all the necessary arrangements. He also assisted us with additional services when we needed them on short notice. When I had a minor problem trying to book the wake venue via OneService, he was able to advice what to do and had the Tanjong Pagar TC number handy. His team also did everything quietly and with deep sensitivity. During the final service, there was an Indian gentleman who help ensure we did the prayers in the correct sequence, and repeatedly told us "slowly, slowly, no rush"Mr Ang himself called on the 2nd or 3rd day of the wake to ask if everything was fine, and on the final day of the wake, he came personally to painstakingly arrange the flowers on the casket. On behalf of our family, we again thank Ang Chin Moh Funeral Director for helping with the arrangements.

I held my grandmother's funeral at the multi purpose hall (MPH) at my HDB. The funeral period is longer than the usual (7 days) as we are waiting for overseas relatives and guests to arrive in Singapore.That also meant that we are able to cater to everyone wishes such as conducting both Buddhist and Taoist rites for my grandmother. Kelvin, the funeral director, was instrumental in navigating the complexities of having the dual ceremonies.Thiru who is on site to assist the funeral received much praise from the guests for his dedication and professionalism.The funeral proceeded smoothly, fulfilling my grandma's wishes. He helped us to source for the supplier to made the paper 7th storey hotel, aeroplane, ship & car at short notice. Vam our funeral director was very prompt, knowledgable and very helpful, he ensured we were clear of the entire process and he very was patient with all our queries. Thirumalai was exceptional in his service, our guests were all impressed and had good words for his services. Raymond, Quek and Zheng who were also part of the team were also very professional and held the Ang Chin Moh flag high. We were also beyond words when Mr Ang Hong Hin, the Group Chairman came on the last morning to decorate the coffin. We didn’t even know his identity until we checked the company’s website as he didn’t reveal his position. Mr Ang is very humble and helpful, he spent close to 2 hours decorating the coffin with flowers from the wreath we received.

We were happy with the funeral arrangement and the company was able to meet our last minute requests. They informed us about the options and was transparent about all the additional cost associated.Special mention of staff from the company: Vam and Thirumalai.Vam has been very helpful to guide us on many arrangements on the wake. He was prompt to respond to our questions and arrange for all the logistics for us. He has responded immediately when we reported about the leaking mobile toilet.Thiru was assigned last minute to be the night watch. We thought that the night watch is just to stay over night to guard the place and check the jossstick. Thiru was very helpful during the night watch, he took the initiative to decorate the casket with flowers, clear up the last night offering, clean up the altar and fix up the lights for the flower water.

If you are reading to find a funeral director , I was in the same position as someone who had lost a loved one , unsure what to do next , confuse if I can handle my aunt's funeral with little help and trying to send her off with the best possible procession .As I remembered 10 years ago , a deceased relative had also acquired ACM service , so I googled & called .Mr Kelvin was simply great . He came to meet at the hospital in no time , knowing that time was precious if I were to reject their service due to cost factor , at least he would personally need to explain the various packages to avoid confusion that may occured over the phone . I was not obligated to take up their service but I was glad he came to my aid .Every steps of whats going to happen were explained , guided & accompanied me til my aunt was sent away from the hospital mortuary to ACM for embalming .Not only did he advised me on the best location for the funeral to take place , he would never overide your opinions or give you a feeling that he is in control of you . He would guide me with compassion and share a few personal experiences of his to relax my mind . As time was tight , he would brief on the happenings for the next couple of days for me to disgest but would always be there if I needed help . All you need is call him and you would have the assistance needed . Very experience & knowleagable man ... Kelvin Tan , Thank you !For the next 3 days , it was not only smooth sailing , the decorations were beautiful , simple & clean looking . Wifi stations were available for all , tables & chairs were arranged orderly without me having to suggest anything . Portable toilet was very equipped & clean . Mutlipurpose hall is the best way to go if you ask me , big & spacious with a little gap to residential blocks . Everything for the respect paying friends were taken care off , chained safe deposit box for white gold was also available . Simply put , there were.nothing we needed to do , except for mourning our beloved aunt . The final cremation were done respectfully & I am truly glad ACM has helped us sent our aunt to a better place . They will always be highly recommended . Funeral arrangements can be frustrating and unpleasant to arrange. However, our Ang Chin Moh director, Kelvin, organised everything seamlessly and the service rendered was immaculate. His responses to our requests or enquiries are always so prompt - anytime of the day.We, family of the late Mr Low Boon Eng, will like to commend and thank Ang Chin Moh’s professionalism and service. The entire team was amazing during our time of grief and made the funeral event or detail flawless. Benedict had been very helpful and patient throughout.Most ImpressiveThe holding place was so nicely set-up, could be a wake parlour equivalent with a 24-hr Caretaker, and it did not cost us a single cent. Well done ACM. Very impressive. Also, the staff were all very friendly.Most Applaudable:Though on leave, Benedict was willing to attend to us personally and render his assistance. Never complained or pushed the ball to his colleagues, which he could jolly well do it, and he had every right to do it! This extra effort made by him is definitely applaudable.Lastly, very grateful to the uncle who collected the ash for my aunty on our behalf and brought it to the temple for us. Really wanted to give him an ang pow but it was against ACM’s policy. Thank you uncle.

Kelvin Tan was our coordinator for the funeral. He promptly came to the hospital and attended to us when we called the Company to enquire on the funeral arrangement. He had very good knowledge of the Chinese customs and traditions and this helped us to make our decision quickly. We also wish to commend Mr Thiru who was very humble, polite and attentive to all of us including the guests. We were impressed with his excellent service standards. Mr and Mrs Ang also visited to see that everything was in order, and Mr Ang even personally handled the flower arrangement on the coffin prior to the send off. The entire team including the transport and logistics was professional throughout the wake and was accommodative to our requests. We were glad that we engaged the services of Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors.

Contacted Ang Chin Moh via Vam. He came down the night we called and handled the whole wake professionally. He was there immediately after the passing of my mother and helped us through the whole process and procedure. He stayed by to ensure the tents were set up properly. Tell us what are the steps to take. When will the prayer begin, etc.Everything went smoothly. He is always available and responsive. Every queries are answered promptly and patiently. I would like to thank him and his team for giving us the support and handling everything so well. His team has been there throughout as well. The funeral day went smoothly.
