• You will need to get a doctor to check and confirm cause of death.
• The doctor will certify the death and submit the information online to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
• The family can register the death at mylegacy.life.gov.sg, within 30days from date of issuance.
• Upon registration of death, the Certificate of Cause of Death (CCOD) will be retained by the death registration centre and a Death Certificate will be given to the family.
• The family will need this Death Certificate later when making arrangements for cremation or burial, or to place an obituary in the papers.
• Prepare a set of clothing including undergarments and dentures (if any).
• Prepare a photo (digital or physical copy).
• Call and inform us at 6226 3333 and we will transfer your loved one to our Care Centre.
• Our funeral director will discuss with you in details on the funeral service arrangement.
• Find counselling services if you are struggling to cope with the loss of your loved one.
